FACE TO FACE APPOINTMENTS
We are very pleased to be able to offer routine face to face appointments again.
If you have no symptoms of Covid-19 (new cough, fever, sore throat, loss of taste, breathlessness) , you are welcome to make an in-person appointment in the practice.
It is helpful to get the most out of your appointment if you tell our receptionist the reason for your visit. All staff take confidentiality very seriously. If you would prefer not to say, that is okay too. We understand.
We ask that anyone attending the practice continues to follow public health guidance.
We will do the same and sanitise equipment and surfaces after each patient.
Appointment Slots are in very high demand. If you are unable to attend your scheduled appointment for any reason please ring to cancel as there is another patient awaiting for the appointment slot.
Be aware that you may be asked to wait outside if there are already people in our waiting rooms.
PLEASE NOTE YOU CANNOT BOOK AN APPOINTMENT IF YOU ARE NOT A REGISTERED PATIENT OF THIS PRACTICE. THE PRACTICE IS CURRENTLY CLOSED TO NEW PATIENTS.
Welcome to Crescent Medical Centre
The Crescent Medical Centre was established in No. 1 The Crescent in 1984.
Our team of five General Practitioners (GP’s) and two Practice Nurses have post graduate training, experience and qualifications in all areas of medicine including Child Health, Obstetrics, Gynaecology, Minor Surgery and Dermatology, allowing us to provide high quality care for the whole family; from pre-conception and pregnancy, through to child health, the diverse challenges of teenager and young adult years, midlife and all the way through to hopefully healthy older age.
We are a training practice associated with the Ballinasloe GP Training Programme and each year we have a Specialist Registrar GP who becomes part of our team. We are also involved in the training of undergraduate Medical Students from NUIG. Patient confidentiality is paramount and you can access our Privacy Policy here.
