Dr Sinéad Feeney graduated with honours from UCD Medicine in 2005. She gained extensive experience in hospital medicine before pursuing Specialist General Practice Training.She interned in St Vincent’s University Hospital. She completed her Basic Specialist Medical training in AMNCH Tallaght and St James’ Hospital, becoming a member of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland in 2008.
She was a Geriatric Registrar with special responsibility for Stroke Medicine in St Vincent’s University Hospital before joining the Western Training Scheme in General Practice in 2011. During her further training she worked in Paediatrics, Psychiatry, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, ENT and Endocrinology in Galway University Hospital.
Her areas of special interest are broad. She is passionate about the holistic approach of general practice and is familiar with treating conditions affecting people of all ages, genders and lifestyles.
She has extensive experience in Women’s Health, Contraception and Family Planning, Menopause Management, Diabetes, Respiratory Medicine, General Medicine, Mental Health and Wellness, Gastroenterology, Paediatrics, Dermatology, Minor Surgery and many other areas. She is a tutor in insertion of intra-uterine systems and contraceptive implants.
She has been involved with the Primary Care Clinical Trials Network for the past 3 years.
Sinéad joined the Crescent Medical Centre as a partner in August 2019.
Sinéad lives in Moycullen with her husband and 2 young children and enjoys being active in the outdoors.
